What used to be clear, simple, 'black and white' is no longer.
Boundaries are blurred,
the world is complex,
complicated and shaded a million colours of grey.

In this context 'faith', 'belief' and our 'spiritual journey' cannot remain unaffected.
We seek to create a context in which we can explore, question and critique what it might mean to be Christian in this society.
We seek to create a context in which, while we might be guided by Christian tradition and practice, we are not bound by it.
Everything is open to challenge, to discussion and to re-interpretation.
Questions are encouraged and answers are seen as partial, as perspectives that enable us to grow rather than 'truths' that limit what we can be.
Blurr is about relationship.
It's about dialogue and critical reflection.
It's about opportunity and meaningful participation.
We are committed to the idea and practice of community,
of growth in and through relationship.

We are committed to the robust exploration and examination of ideas, of perspectives and to providing a 'space' in which 'belonging' is defined by choice and not by the subscription to any concept of communal truth or doctrine.
And finally, we are committed to providing opportunities for meaningful participation. We want to encourage our community to focus on their own and others participation in the things that we do rather than be passive consumers of others ideas.
For these reasons we have structured Blurr in a way that we hope provides a variety of methods / opportunities / and perspectives for our individual and communal spiritual and theological growth.
We run Blurr as a series of 5-week themes, designed to allow us to engage with themes through a variety of perspectives, methodologies and contexts...
Although Blurr is aimed at Generation X and Y, anyone is welcome.
We would love to see you!
