EIGHT - A play by Ella Hickson
Meet Danny, Jude, André, Bobby, Mona, Miles, Millie and Astrid: eight young people who have grown up in a commercial, booming world where anything and everything is available in excess...much like the world we live in today.
From a bomb survivor to an injured soldier working in a morgue to a prostitute who yearns for the return of conservative values, Eight is a set of compelling stories that seem just as eerily relevant now as in 2008, when this play was written as Ella Hickson's breakout work for the Edinburgh Fringe.
When so many are turning to apathy or fundamentalism, what do we choose to believe in?
Shows are Friday 4 and Saturday 5 July at 7:30pm, at St Lukes Church, Remuera Rd. Tickets available at: https://events.humanitix.com/eight-by-ella-hickson
